How to Erase/Wipe Your BlackBerry Hand Held

Here’s a step by step visual walkthrough for wiping/Erasing your BlackBerry hand held

1. From the Home screen, click on Options, or click Settings then Options (depending on the theme you have running on your device)

2. Click on Security Options, then General Settings

3. When under General Settings press the BlackBerry key and click on Wipe Handheld

4. Agree to the security prompt by clicking on Continue

5. Enter the term “blackberry” to confirm handheld wipe and centre press the scroll ball

Wait for a few minutes for the device to completely wipe and reboot and you are done.
